Psychotherapy is a life-enhancing experience
Many people find themselves confused or blocked in living a satisfying and joyful life.
Most of the people I work with come to therapy because of dissatisfaction about relationships – with partners, family, friends. They may feel isolated, have difficulty finding relationships or making them work, or find themselves repeating unsatisfying patterns in them.
Others come because they find themselves confused about what they want in their life or career, or about how to go about making what they want happen.
Working with these individuals led me to also work with couples – for many of whom the above issues become magnified. They are not feeling the sense of connection and support that a loving and growing relationship can provide.
Having these concerns leads to feeling ‘stuck’; to depression and anxiety, and sometimes to hopelessness. Or to addictive behaviors designed to avoid these feelings.
I have been helping people with these issues for years. I help people sort out the many patterns they have learned which are now blocking further growth. The comfort I have achieved in working with people is communicated to the person or couple sitting across from me, and helps support their work.
I also take great pleasure in imparting what I have learned to other professionals seeking supervision or training. For several years I have done individual and group supervision at a training institute, for community organizations, and online.
I want to invite you to look further in this website to find out about how I work, my training and professional experience, and the services I offer.
I look forward to hearing from you.
